Italy(7night, 8 days)

On the first day, when my mom and I arrived to the Milano airport, the tour started literally right away.
The tour did start in a rush but the tour itself wasn't so hectic.
Mr. Lee Joo sung, our temporary tour guide for the first day, told a lot about the history of "Antonio Vivaldi" and I could tell he personally respected the historical figure. He was really sociable and shared his personal life as an Opera singer studying in Italy. Bravo. I respect him. The restaurants presented were very nice as a whole, we had a lot of pasta dishes for a week, but there were different cuisines sandwiched in between. It was unfortunate that we weren't able to try much of Italian pizza, so I think it would be nice if that was included in the tour next time. The places were overwhelming, starting from Milano, Venice, Pisa, Florence, Tuscany, Pompeii, Capri island, and all the way to Rome. The weather in Italy, especially in June/July, was fantastic, it was sunny all long without being too hot or humid. I'm thankful for Felix, our main guide for the trip, who was not only genially knowledgeable, but was very informative about gypsies in Italy. He was very keen on how we must becareful and gave us tips here and there on how to identify these people as we walked for long periods during our trip. Fortunately, because of him, there weren't any theft incidents, and we were able to enjoy the cultural settings without concerning too much. Mr. Sam our other guide was very generous to show us a place in Rome that wasn't part of the tour program. It was a place under the UNESCO world heritage called "Tivoli Villa d' Este". It was truly a wonderful place filled with numerous artistic fountains and Italian renaissance gardens. I'm also thankful to Mr. Sam for taking pictures for us while my mom and I were on the cable ride at Capri Islands. (Very memorable pictures we have gained that we couldn't have took) I also wanted to point out that it was really nice of the tour guides to play the classical movie "Holiday in Rome" while we were actually heading to Rome. I haven't seen yet the famous movie before that I was glad I got to see it before we arrived. The multiple hotels that we stayed in, were all convinient and elegant. I honestly feel, the trip I had with my mother in Italy, couldn't have been better. I was thankful for their hard work and inspiring words to push us to travel around the world. Thank you.
